I pray for my readers.
I pray that your Spirit will transform my words so that my reader will get what he/she needs from them.
I hold my reader
in the Light of your Love,
in the Dark rich fecundity of your Wisdom,
in the flow of your ever enlivening energy.
Tune my readers to your Wisdom moving within their souls.
Enfold them in the dark fecundity of your womb.
Breathe your holy breath into their spirits.
Help them hear you call their names.
Strum their heart strings.
Rock them in the cradle of your love.
Embolden them with courage to be vulnerable, pliable, true.
Make them aware of the dream you are dreaming in them, through them.
When they read my books, help them to be more fully in relationship with their truest selves, more in authentic relationship with others, more fully in relationship with you.
Bless my readers this night, wherever they are, sleeping or working, making love or nursing wounds , talking or listening, silent or giving voice, solitary or with.
Let my readers’ dreams vivify their lives.
Bless my readers.
Help them see beyond my words to the message sacred.
Help them know themselves anew as my stories stir something in them.
Help them find their dreams and live them.
Help them go beyond pain to new life.
Help them find a word that touches their souls.
So let it be.
